²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ¸£ÀûÔº is a bustling city, and that means you’ll need to know how to get around town on public transportation. Several options are available to bring you to your destination, whether it be the Conservatory, the park, or that cafe everyone has been talking about.

BART
Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) is the ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ¸£ÀûÔº Bay Area’s subway system. It’s pretty simple: it runs one line north through ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ¸£ÀûÔº and then over to the East Bay, breaking off into separate lines in Oakland and Berkeley. The closest BART station to SFCM is Civic Center / UN Plaza. BART trains run to many popular areas in the Bay Area with exciting nightlife and restaurants.

SFMTA / Muni
The ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ¸£ÀûÔº Municipal Railway (Muni) is operated by the ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ¸£ÀûÔº Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA). The Muni system incorporates several different modes of transportation, including buses, trolleys, light rail, and cable cars. Many ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ¸£ÀûÔº residents use Muni for daily commuting. A number of buses and light rail cars stop at the corner of Van Ness Avenue and Market Street, where SFCM is located. The system serves just about every area of ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ¸£ÀûÔº.

Biking
Biking is big in ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ¸£ÀûÔº. Designated lanes, hundreds of routes … nearly any way you want to get around ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ¸£ÀûÔº, there is a biking option. ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ¸£ÀûԺ’s bike share program and convenient bike parking let you go from A to B without a second thought.

Other Transportation Options
SFCM has an agreement with , a car-sharing company that offers hourly car rentals for when you need a car in the city. SFCM students receive a discounted membership rate of $15.
